AI in Practice

Welcome to Amechi.ai

This site has been a long time coming.

For the past few years I've been working as a Level 1 SOC analyst — monitoring alerts, triaging incidents, and watching AI tools slowly reshape what that job looks like day to day. That front-row seat to AI in a real operational environment has been one of the most clarifying experiences of my career. It's taught me more about where AI actually works, where it fails, and what it means for the people doing the work than any course or certification ever could.

Amechi.ai is where I put that thinking on paper.

What This Site Is

This is my home base. A place to build in public, document what I'm learning, and develop a body of work that reflects where I'm going — not just where I've been.

I'm making a deliberate bet on AI as a career trajectory. Not as a trend to follow, but as the domain where I want to spend the next decade doing serious work. This site is the evidence of that bet.

What You'll Find Here

Content on this site is organized around five pillars, each representing a different angle on the same core question: what does it actually mean to work at the intersection of AI and real-world operations?

AI in Practice is where I write about what I'm seeing and doing firsthand — tools evaluated, implementations attempted, honest assessments of what worked and what didn't. No hype. No marketing copy. Just practitioner-level observations from someone in the field.

Technical is for the engineering side — walkthroughs, tutorials, and deep dives into the tools, frameworks, and concepts I'm working with. If I figured something out the hard way, I'll write it down so the next person doesn't have to.

Industry is where I step back and look at the broader picture — what's happening in the AI space, what the major moves mean, and where things seem to be heading. I try to think critically here rather than just amplify the loudest voices.

Workforce is probably the pillar closest to my own story. AI is disrupting entire categories of work, and I'm living that disruption in real time. I want to write honestly about what that looks like from the inside — the career calculus, the skill gaps, the opportunities hiding inside the disruption.

News Roundup will be a regular digest — notable developments with brief commentary. A habit loop for anyone who wants to stay current without drowning in content.

Why Build in Public

The honest answer: because the work is more valuable when it's visible.

A private notebook of observations helps me. A published body of work helps me and creates something I can point to. Every post is a proof of work — evidence that I'm thinking seriously about this space, not just talking about it.

There's also something clarifying about writing for an audience, even a small one. It forces precision. It surfaces gaps in your thinking. It's the difference between understanding something and actually understanding it.

What's Coming

The site is young. The projects section will fill in as I ship things worth showing. The blog will get more posts every week. The Videos section will connect to the YouTube channel where I cover some of this material in longer form.

If you're navigating a similar intersection — technical background, watching AI reshape your field, trying to figure out where to place your bets — this site is for you too.

More soon.
